Doug Witham appointed as Chairman of EESF

The Elevator Escalator Safety Foundation held its annual meeting Friday, January 21, 2005 in Mobile, Al. Prior to meeting with the industry, the Board of Regents and their available alternates convened with EESF staff for a one-day meeting on January 20.

Outgoing Chairman, Michael Lubben of KONE, handed the gavel over to incoming chairman, Doug Witham of GAL Manufacturing. Lubben was presented with a plaque of appreciation.

Witham announced the following Director appointments:
Regent at Large (Associations) Regent Thomas Olenick / Alternate Davis Turner
Regent at Large (User) Regent Kevin Moylan / Alternate Michael Mancuso
Canadian Liaison Regent Doug Witham / Alternate Steve Husband
Regent at Large (Industry) Regent Mike Thomas / Alternate David Lacosse.
All will serve three year terms expiring at the Annual Meeting in 2008.
